FAQs

Should I remove the water bottle from the chair at night when using Alpron?

No, leave the bottle on at all times, unless refilling with Alpron or cleaning the water bottle. Alpron is a continuous use product and thus must be in the system at all times to be effective.

What concentration is Alpron used at?

Alpron is used at 1% concentrate. For example to make 5 litres of 1% Alpron solution, mix 50mls of Alpron with 4950mls of water.

What water should I use to mix up Alpron?

You can use any water source (Distilled, Tap, RO) that is potable (I.e. drinking quality water under 100 C.F.U). We would always recommend testing your source water with a Red Sampler to ensure it is drinking quality. RO machines in particular should be tested regularly as filters and membranes frequently become contaminated and produce water that is not of drinking quality.

Is Alpron safe for patients?

Yes, Alpron is physiologically harmless and is safe for use on patients.
