BIB forte eco Dental and Medical Instrument Disinfectant

Description

BIB forte eco Dental and Medical Instrument Disinfectant is a cleaning and disinfection solution free of aldehydes, phenols and QAC for the cleaning and disinfection of non-fixing proteins on medical and dental instruments, as well as burs, polishers and endoscopes. Suitable for use in a soaking bath for cold sterilisation, or in an ultrasonic device.

BIB forte eco has exceptional efficacy. Bactericidal (incl. TBC, MRSA and suitable for hospitalism prophylaxis) efficient incl. limited spectrum of virucidal activity according to EN 16777: quick incl. virucidal according to EN 14476 (55°C) against non-enveloped viruses incl. polio- and parvo as well as all enveloped viruses: yeasticidal CJD-prophylaxis, meets the requirements of the RKI (pH>=10) VAH/DGHM listed.

Suitable for use on a wide variety of instruments, BIB forte includes corrosion inhibitors, thus instruments sensitive to corrosion get optimal protection. Its high disinfection ability makes BIB forte eco suitable as a cold sterilisation solution for items sensitive to heat, such as intraoral mirrors.

Additionally, BIB forte eco can be used in an ultrasonic device for an added disinfection effect. Adding a chemical disinfection improves safety for decontamination operators and enhances patient safety.

BIB forte eco offers exceptional economy. At a 0.5% concentration, a single 1-litre bottle of BIB forte eco can produce 200 litres of disinfectant solution. At 2% concentration, a single 1-litre bottle can produce 50 litres of working solution.

How to use BIB forte eco – Soaking bath

BIB forte eco provides an excellent disinfection effect at only 0.5% concentration. Add 5mls of BIB forte eco per 995ml of water. Contact time at 0.5% is 60 minutes.

Shorter contact times can be achieved with a higher concentration. At a 2% solution (20ml BIB forte eco and 980ml water) contact time is 30 minutes.

How to use BIB forte eco – Ultrasonic bath

BIB forte eco can be used in an ultrasonic bath for an added disinfection action. Use at 3% (30ml to 970ml water) concentration for a 15-minute cycle, or 4% (40ml to 960ml water) for a 10-minute cycle.
