Description
AlproJet-DD Aspirator Cleaner is an alkaline-based cleaning and disinfection solution for dental suction/aspirator systems. AlproJet-DD is a highly effective cleaner that excels at removing organic contamination such as blood, saliva and proteins and is safe for use with all amalgam separators.
AlproJet-DD should be used three times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) as a 2% solution in conjunction with AlproJet-W for the complete cleaning and maintenance of dental suction systems. Mix 40mls of AlproJet-DD to 1960mls of warm water. Flush through all suction channels using the AlproJet Application Container. Use AlproJet-W at the start of the week (Monday, Tuesday). For cleaning of the spitoon bowl, use AlproCleaner.
Benefits of the AlproJet Aspitator Dual-Action Cleaning System
The two-product system utilises alternating acid and alkaline solutions to ensure a superior clean that single cleaners cannot achieve:
- Acidic solution – AlproJet-W: Specifically formulated to remove stubborn inorganic buildup, including hardened water scale, mineral deposits, and prophylaxis residue. Used twice a week.
- Alkaline solution – AlproJet-DD. Used for daily maintenance to eliminate organic matter like blood, saliva, and proteins. Used 3 times a week.
By alternating these solutions, you prevent all types of material buildup, which is essential for maximising suction performance, extending the lifespan of your vacuum system, and ensuring amalgam separator efficiency.
